Young learners
Teaching English to young learners can be one of the most rewarding experiences you will ever have. Generally, young learners are keen on learning, are very energetic and show their respect to you, their ESL teacher. However, teaching young learners isn't as easy as it seems... they can get bored quickly, they don't (normally) have as much English knowledge as older students and overall, require a different approach to teaching than older students.

We've put together a list of games to keep young learners entertained for hours. In our lesson plan section you will even find pre-made lesson plans that have been tested out on young learners.

Share your ideas with the Simply ESL community and helps others enjoy the benefits of teaching young learners in their esl classroom.
