Upside Down Game

Great Team Game for the ESL classroom!
City Break Hotels on Sale

This game is based around a Q and A language structure.
What you need: Flashcards or bits of paper with drawings or writing on them.

How to play: Get the students in two lines, one per team. Lay down the Flashcards infront of them, upside-down. The whole class asks the question to the teacher and the teacher responds with an answer. The first students from each line then try to find the correct flashcard. The student with the correct flashcard gets a point for their team.
The two students then move to the back of the line and play continues.
After two or three goes, get a student to be the teacher, i usually get the winner (or loser) of the previous round (so that everyone gets a turn being the teacher).

Note: This game has seen the death of a few of my flashcards, so you might want to just photocopy them instead!
