Lesson 3: Sea creature mobile Vocab Taught: turtle, squid Preparation: Flashcards, cut-outs of all the different sea creatures, crayons, scissors, string, straws - one per student, glue. Time: About an hour, depending on class size.
Duck, duck, goose. Change duck and goose to turtle and squid. 10 minutes
Colouring in - get the students to cut-out and colour in their sea creatures. 10-15 minutes. Then, get the S's to attach a piece of string to each of the different sea creatures. 10 minutes. Lastly, get the student's to attach the sea creatures to the straw. 5 minutes.
