Time. No-one ever has enough of it. English takes a lot of time to master, the time taken to learn CAN be shortened, however. Using the helpful hints contained in this article you will be able spend more time learning NEW things!

Time Planning Hint 1: Don't wast time studying if your mind is elsewhere. Have you ever sat down to study and you couldn't concentrate because you had other things going on inside your head? That's not effective study. Go do something else, study later, when you can get focused on learning.

Time Planning Hint 2: Find out what works for your and get rid of what doesn't. There's no point putting in the time to practice if it isn't helping you to improve your skills.

Time Planning hint 3: Do at least some English study/learning activity everyday. The key is to keep it regular and consistent.

Time Planning Hint 4: Work on becoming an effective learner. Plan time to study as well as the area of English that you are going to study.

Time Planning Hint 5: Did you know that it takes about 10 minutes to focus on your study material? Every time you get distracted you are wasting 10 minutes to get back to the same level of focus you had before the interruption. You will grasp concepts faster and have a better chance of retaining them if you have few distractions because you will be 100% focused on learning.

Helpful Hint 6: Plan time to enjoy life. Planning your study time will mean that you have more free time. Use that time wisely and do things that make you happy. A happy studier is an effective studier.
