Make sure your students can spell that word!
Spelling Test
This is a simple activity that can help to improve your students spelling.

Here are a few variations:
  1. Each student has a piece of paper and has to spell the word as the teacher says it. Usually 10 words.
  2. Have a spelling B competition where words are chosen at random. If the student can spell it then they advanced to the next round, if they can't then they sit down.
  3. Spelling B board race - two students at a time. The student must be the first to write the word and spell it correctly to advance to the next round.
