Marco Polo

How to Play: One student is "in" and must tag another student to make the tagged student "in". The catch is this: the student who is in must have their eyes closed. However, they can use sound to help them find other students.

In the original game the player who is it calls out "Marco", while the other players have to respond with "Polo". You can change these two words to anything you like, to emphasize the lesson's target language. When a student is tagged and is then "in" they must spin three times.

Variations:
  1. Use grammer structures. IE the student who is "in" asks the questions, while the other students answer.
  2. This game also works well with phonics.
Enjoy!
