Slowly/quickly

This drill is good for letting your students to hear the word/phrase as you say it slowly.

Raise your right arm up and get your students to do the same. Bring your hand, slowly, towards your knee, while saying the target language. Your hand should touch your knee as you finish saying the target language.

Raise your left arm up and get your students to do the same. This time touch your knee and say the target language as fast as you can.

Variations:
  1. Stretch your arms out so that you make a "t". Bring your hands together as you say the target language.
  2. Lift your leg up and bring it towards the floor as you say the target language.
  3. Run slowly or quickly while saying the target language. Make sure the students stop after saying it.
