How to play: The classic hangman game involves students guess letters to a word. If they get a letter wrong, then a part of a person is drawn. Once the person has been drawn, then draw the hanging apparatus. If the drawing is complete before the students guess the word, then they lost the game.
Variations: Make it a team game: have two pictures at the same time and the first team to hang their person loses. Phonics practice: Instead of saying the letter students have to say the phonic value. Sentence forming: have the students make a sentence with as many words beginning with the letter as possible. eg. A:- Ants Act Awkwardly while Asking for Answers.
